ABOUT ME

I’m a backend-focused developer specializing in Python and Django, with a strong interest in building reliable, well-tested systems. I enjoy working close to the core of applications. APIs, data handling, algorithms, and internal logic, where correctness and clarity matter most. I’m currently completing a vocational qualification in software development and working toward a bachelor’s degree. Before transitioning into software development, I spent over 13 years in logistics solving complex, real-world operational problems, which strongly shapes my structured and practical approach to engineering work.

Get to know me!

I prefer working with a small, well-understood toolset and going deep rather than spreading attention across many frameworks. Python and Django suit me well because they let me reason clearly about application behavior, data flow, and edge cases.

I enjoy building systems from the inside out, especially when it involves parsing, data structures, APIs, or internal tooling. Testing is an essential part of how I work, because it gives me the confidence to refactor, extend functionality, and explore design decisions without fear of breaking existing behavior.

When approaching problems, I value clarity, structure, and practical solutions. I focus on making systems understandable and reliable, even if that means moving a bit slower at first to build a solid foundation.

    A Django-based portfolio website built to showcase my projects, highlight my backend development skills, and give me a customizable, database-driven platform for future demos and tools.

    JSON Parser

    A from-scratch JSON parser and validator built in Python to deeply understand parsing, recursion, and data validation. The project includes tokenization, syntax validation, detailed error reporting, and a comprehensive test suite.

    Jv-compression-tool

    A pure Python Huffman compression tool built from scratch, covering frequency analysis, tree construction, bit-level packing, custom headers, and file-level compression/decompression. Designed with a modular architecture and developed using test-driven development.
